In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Fargo Davies Eagles basketball team scored a good 65-46 triumph over the Moorhead Spuds.
The Eagles (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Fergus Falls (Fergus Falls, MN). The Otters go into the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Fergus Falls topped Sauk Rapids-Rice (Sauk Rapids, MN), 103-32, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Spuds confront the Buffalo Bison (Buffalo, MN) in a AAAA Section 8 contest, on Friday, December 13. Moorhead will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Bison go into the contest with a 5-3 record after their 83-74 league loss to Rogers (Rogers, MN).
