The Cougars now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Tylertown for a non-league bout on Thursday, December 12. Lawrence County will play a Chiefs team coming off a 42-39 non-league loss to Oak Grove (Hattiesburg, MS). The Chiefs record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Hazlehurst falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Enterprise (Brookhaven, MS) to play the Yellowjackets in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 12. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 5-6. Enterprise lost 48-42 in their recent non-league bout against Jefferson County (Fayette, MS)
