New Mexico High School Basketball - Jemez Valley holds off Penasco

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Jemez Valley Warrior basketball team scored a close 36-35 triumph over the Penasco Panthers.
The Warrior (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Moriarty (Moriarty, NM). The Pintos go into the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Moriarty nipped Santa Fe Prep (Santa Fe, NM), 51-2, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers confront the Taos Tigers (Taos, NM) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 14. Penasco will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 2-3 record after their 41-35 non-league win over St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM).
