In Tuesday's league contest, the host Madison County Tigers basketball team scored a good 54-42 triumph over the Kate Duncan Smith DAR Patriots.
The Tigers (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Plainview (Rainsville, AL). The Bears go into the 4A Area 16 contest with a 11-2 record. In their last contest, Plainview topped North Jackson (Stevenson, AL), 82-27, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Patriots confront the New Hope Indians (New Hope, AL) in a 4A Area 16 contest, on Friday, December 13. Kate Duncan Smith DAR will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record.
