The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the White River Valley Wolverines (Switz City, IN) and the host Loogootee Lions (Loogootee, IN), observed White River Valley's basketball team knock off Loogootee by a score of 48-38.

The Wolverines (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against North Central (Farmersburg, IN). The Thunderbirds come into the Southwestern Indiana challenge with a 9-0 record. In their last challenge, North Central prevailed over Shakamak (Jasonville, IN), 50-25, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Lions encounter the Washington Catholic Cardinals (Washington, IN) in a Blue Chip challenge, on Thursday, December 12. Loogootee will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 38-34 non-league loss to Seven Oaks Classical (Ellettsville, IN).
