With the victory, Marvin Ridge upgrades its record to 5-1 on the year. The Mavericks travel to Independence (Charlotte, NC) to face the Patriots in a non-league match on Thursday, December 12. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 0-7. Independence lost 54-11 in their recent non-league match against Palisades (Charlotte, NC)

The Wolverines now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Iredell for a 4A Greater Metro match on Friday, December 13. West Cabarrus will face a Vikings squad coming off a 54-36 non-league win over Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 1-4.
