In Tuesday's league test, the Thornton Academy Trojans (Saco, ME) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Massabesic Mustangs (Waterboro, ME), by a score of 56-48.
Next, the Trojans encounter the Bonny Eagle Scots (Standish, ME) in a AA South test, on Friday, December 13. Thornton Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Scots come into the test with a 0-2 record after their 68-29 non-league loss to Cheverus (Portland, ME).
