The McDonogh 35 Roneagles basketball team scored 40 points and limited the host St. Mary's Academy Cougars to 33 in the Roneagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Roneagles now have a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Bonnabel for a non-league game on Friday, December 13. McDonogh 35 will confront a Bruins team coming off a 54-26 non-league win over Wright (New Orleans, LA). The Bruins record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, St. Mary's Academy falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Cougars host John Ehret (Marrero, LA) to confront the Patriots in a non-league game on Wednesday, December 11. The Patriots go into the game with a record of 1-5. John Ehret lost 33-31 in their recent non-league game against West St. John (Edgard, LA)
