Mississippi High School Basketball - Neshoba Central bests Northeast Lauderdale

The Neshoba Central Rockets basketball team scored 49 points and limited the host Northeast Lauderdale Trojans to 33 in the Rockets non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Rockets now possess a 5-6 record. They play next when they host Madison Central for a non-league game on Friday, December 13. Neshoba Central will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 65-58 non-league loss to Callaway (Jackson, MS). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-6.

With the loss, Northeast Lauderdale falls to 7-3 on the campaign. The Trojans host Morton (Morton, MS) to confront the Panthers in a non-league game on Thursday, December 12. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 5-3. Morton lost 43-23 in their recent non-league contest against Northwest Rankin (Brandon, MS)
