The Spartans now possess a 9-0 record. They play next when they host Decatur Eisenhower for a Central State Eight bout on Saturday, December 14. Springfield Southeast will play a Panthers team coming off a 62-29 league loss to Lanphier (Springfield, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 0-8.

With the loss, Peoria falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Lions host Champaign Central (Champaign, IL) to play the Maroons in a Big Twelve bout on Thursday, December 12. The Maroons go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Champaign Central lost 68-21 in their recent league bout against Peoria Notre Dame (Peoria, IL)
