North Carolina High School Basketball - Wake Forest overwhelms Sanderson

The Wake Forest Cougars basketball team scored 52 points and limited the visiting Sanderson Spartans to 12 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cougars now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Green Hope for a non-league game on Thursday, December 12. Wake Forest will confront a Falcons team coming off a 56-54 league loss to Middle Creek (Apex, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 6-1.

With the loss, Sanderson falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Spartans host Garner (Garner, NC) to confront the Trojans in a non-league game on Friday, December 13. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 5-3. Garner won 48-18 in their recent non-league match against Enloe (Raleigh, NC)
