Fremont Firebirds (Sunnyvale, CA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit Lions (San Jose, CA), 9-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Fremont moves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Firebirds travel to Harker (San Jose, CA) to meet the Eagles in a non-league test on Thursday, December 12. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 3-1. Harker won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Everett Alvarez (Salinas, CA)

The Lions now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pajaro Valley for a non-league test on Saturday, December 14. Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit will meet a Grizzlies team coming off a 7-2 non-league win over North Salinas (Salinas, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 4-1.
