Petaluma Trojans (Petaluma, CA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the host Rancho Cotate Cougars (Rohnert Park, CA), 5-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Petaluma upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Trojans travel to Ygnacio Valley (Concord, CA) to battle the Wolves in a non-league contest on Friday, December 13. The Wolves enter the contest with a record of 1-4. Ygnacio Valley lost 9-0 in their recent non-league contest against Freedom (Oakley, CA)

The Cougars (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Terra Linda (San Rafael, CA). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Terra Linda by Marin Academy (San Rafael, CA), 3-1, in a non-league contest.
