The Kearny Komets basketball team scored 53 points and limited the host Castle Park Trojans to 26 in the Komets non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Komets now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Hilltop for a non-league game on Friday, December 13. Kearny will confront a Lancers team coming off a 73-17 non-league win over Chula Vista Learning Community Charter (San Diego, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 6-1.

With the loss, Castle Park falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Trojans host Coastal Academy (Oceanside, CA) to confront the Stingrays in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 8. The Stingrays go into the game with a record of 2-5.
