In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Oakdale basketball team scored a big 71-29 triumph over the Catoctin Cougars.

The (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Urbana (Ijamsville, MD). The Hawks go into the contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Urbana was trounced by Linganore (Frederick, MD), 38-29, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Cougars confront the North Hagerstown Hubs (Hagerstown, MD) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 13. Catoctin will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Hubs go into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Smithsburg (Smithsburg, MD).
