In Tuesday's league contest, the host Putnam County War Eagles basketball team scored a good 58-48 triumph over the Washington-Wilkes Tigers.
The War Eagles (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Morgan County (Madison, GA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Morgan County topped Greene County (Greensboro, GA), 58-56, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Tigers confront the Warren County Screaming Devils (Warrenton, GA) in a contest, on Friday, December 13. Washington-Wilkes will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Screaming Devils go into the contest with a 4-0 record after their 42-39 non-league win over Augusta Christian (Martinez, GA).
