Tupelo Christian Prep Eagles (Belden, MS) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Nettleton Tigers (Nettleton, MS), 5-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Tupelo Christian Prep advances its record to 2-7 on the campaign. The Eagles host Mooreville (Mooreville, MS) to clash with the Troopers in a non-league test on Monday, December 16. The Troopers come into the test with a record of 4-6.

The Tigers now have a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Houston for a non-league test on Thursday, December 12. Nettleton will clash with a Hilltoppers team coming off a 7-0 league loss to Caledonia (Caledonia, MS). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 1-8.
