The Gosnell Pirates walloped the host Armorel Tigers basketball team by a margin of 73-45 in Wednesday's non-league game.
The Pirates now have a 5-0 record. They play next when they travel to East Poinsett County for a non-league game on Saturday, December 13. Gosnell will confront a Warriors team coming off a 60-46 non-league win over Trumann (Trumann, AR). The Warriors record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Armorel falls to 6-9 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to KIPP Blytheville (Blytheville, AR) to confront the Thunder in a 1A Region 3 game on Friday, December 12. The Thunder go into the game with a record of 0-2.
