    The St. John Bosco Braves (Bellflower, CA) basketball edged the visiting Fairmont Prep Huskies (Anaheim, CA), 62-56 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

    The Braves now possess a 6-0 record. They play next when they host Rancho Cucamonga for a non-league bout on Thursday, December 11. St. John Bosco will play a Cougars team coming off a 72-62 non-league win over Rancho Dominguez (Long Beach, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 9-3.

    With the loss, Fairmont Prep falls to 6-2 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Long Beach Poly (Long Beach, CA) to play the Jackrabbits in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 11. The Jackrabbits go into the bout with a record of 2-4. Long Beach Poly lost 54-53 in their recent non-league battle against Rancho Cucamonga (Rancho Cucamonga, CA)
