In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Live Oak Eagles basketball team scored a good 61-52 win over the French Settlement Lions.
The Eagles (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Denham Springs (Denham Springs, LA). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Denham Springs defeated Holden (Holden, LA), 66-22, in a non-league contest.
