North Carolina High School Basketball - Providence held off by Nation Ford

In Wednesday's non-league test, the Nation Ford Falcons (Fort Mill, SC) basketball squad held off the host Providence Panthers (Charlotte, NC), by a count of 58-57.

With the victory, Nation Ford advances its record to 5-3 on the year. The Falcons host Wren (Piedmont, SC) to meet the Hurricanes in a non-league battle on Saturday, December 13. The Hurricanes enter the battle with a record of 4-3. Wren won 81-59 in their recent non-league battle against Palmetto (Williamston, SC)

The Panthers now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Myers Park for a non-league battle on Friday, December 12. Providence will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 88-57 non-league loss to Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-4.
