    The Ryle Raiders (Union, KY) basketball edged the host Mercy Jaguars (Louisville, KY), 59-54 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

    The Raiders now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Bethlehem for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 13. Ryle will play a Eagles/Banshees team coming off a 68-41 league win over Washington County (Springfield, KY). The Eagles/Banshees record now stands at 2-0.

    With the loss, Mercy moves to 0-2 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Tullahoma (Tullahoma, TN) to encounter the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 12. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 4-3. Tullahoma lost 45-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Brentwood Academy (Brentwood, TN)
