In Wednesday's league contest, the host West Carrollton Pirates basketball team scored a good 39-29 win over the Piqua Indians.
The Pirates (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Sidney (Sidney, OH). The Yellowjackets come into the Miami Valley - Scarlet contest with a 1-2 record.
The Indians now own a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fairborn for a Miami Valley - Scarlet match on Friday, December 12. Piqua will face a Skyhawks squad coming off a 55-33 league loss to Butler (Vandalia, OH). The Skyhawks record now stands at 1-4.
