Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the MacArthur Brahmas (San Antonio, TX) and the host Brackenridge Eagles (San Antonio, TX), saw MacArthur's basketball squad hold off Brackenridge by a count of 70-64.

With the victory, MacArthur upgrades its record to 7-11 on the campaign. The Brahmas travel to Reagan (San Antonio, TX) to play the Rattlers in a 6A Region IV District 28 challenge on Friday, December 17. The Rattlers come into the challenge with a record of 15-4. Reagan won 65-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Monterey (Lubbock, TX)

Next up, the Eagles play the Jefferson Mustangs (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 27 challenge, on Tuesday, December 14. Brackenridge will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 11-7 record after their 46-43 non-league win over Vandegrift (Austin, TX).
