The Sumner Spartans basketball team scored 82 points and restricted the visiting Kentwood Conquerors to 59 in the Spartans non-league victory on Saturday.

The Spartans now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Graham-Kapowsin for a 4A South Puget Sound contest on Wednesday, December 15. Sumner will battle a Eagles team coming off a 41-25 non-league loss to Franklin Pierce (Tacoma, WA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-3.

The Conquerors (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Auburn Adventist (Auburn, WA). The Falcons come into the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Auburn Adventist was routed by Bush (Seattle, WA), 58-35, in a non-league contest.
