    • Maryland High School Basketball - New Town fells Ridge View

    December 11, 2021: Owings Mills, MD 21117

    New Town (Owings Mills, MD) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Ridge View Blazers (Columbia, SC), 40-29 in a non-league bout.

    With the win, New Town upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The host Western Tech & Environmental Science (Baltimore, MD) to play the Wolverines in a Baltimore County 2 bout on Friday, December 17. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Western Tech & Environmental Science lost 72-50 in their recent league bout against Pikesville (Baltimore, MD)

    Next up, the Blazers play the Northwood Academy Chargers (Charleston, SC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 14. Ridge View will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Chargers go into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 50-40 non-league win over Fort Dorchester (North Charleston, SC).
