The Booker T. Washington Mighty Bookers (Norfolk, VA) basketball nipped the host Great Bridge Wildcats (Chesapeake, VA), 79-72 in Monday's non-league test.
The Mighty Bookers (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Norcom (Portsmouth, VA). The Greyhounds go into the Eastern test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Norcom was tipped by Norfolk Collegiate (Norfolk, VA), 66-52, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Currituck County for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 13. Great Bridge will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 68-66 league win over Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC). The Knights record now stands at 4-2.
