The Virginia Academy Patriots routed the host Covenant Christian Academy Golden Eagles basketball team by a final score of 65-11 in Monday's league game.
In their next game, the Patriots face the Blue Ridge Barons (St. George, VA) in a non-league game, on Friday, December 15. Virginia Academy will attempt to move on its 2-11 season record.
