Granite City Warriors (Granite City, IL) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host McCluer Comets (Florissant, MO), 57-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Granite City upgrades its record to 3-6 on the season. The Warriors host Collinsville (Collinsville, IL) to clash with the Kahoks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Kahoks go into the bout with a record of 8-0. Collinsville won 66-59 in their recent league bout against East St. Louis (East St. Louis, IL)

Next up, the Comets clash with the St. Louis University Junior Bills (St. Louis, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. McCluer will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record.
