The Hillcrest Patriots basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Hale County Wildcats to 45 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Monday.

The Patriots now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hewitt-Trussville for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Hillcrest will battle a Huskies team coming off a 66-43 non-league win over Fairview (Cullman, AL). The Huskies record now stands at 8-4.

The Wildcats (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Central (Tuscaloosa, AL). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Central ran past Tuscaloosa County (Northport, AL), 62-59, in a non-league contest.
