The Marian Central Catholic Hurricanes basketball team (Woodstock, IL), was nudged 68-66 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Harvest Christian Academy Lions (Elgin, IL)
The Lions now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westlake Christian Academy for a Northeastern battle on Tuesday, December 12. Harvest Christian Academy will battle a Eagles team coming off a 54-27 non-league win over Trinity Oaks Christian Academy (Cary, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 4-2.
The Hurricanes (1-7) will now prepare for their battle against St. Edward (Elgin, IL). The Green Wave come into the Freelance battle with a 4-5 record. In their last battle, St. Edward was nudged by Timothy Christian (Elmhurst, IL), 49-31, in a league battle.
