Holy Family Tigers (Broomfield, CO) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Severance Silver Knights (Severance, CO), 54-52 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Holy Family upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to University (Greeley, CO) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 14. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 1-6. University lost 65-56 in their recent non-league bout against Strasburg (Strasburg, CO)

Next up, the Silver Knights play the Mountain View Mountain Lions (Loveland, CO) in a 5A/4A Longs Peak bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Severance will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Mountain Lions come into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 70-40 league loss to Frederick (Frederick, CO).
