With the win, Montebello upgrades its record to 5-6 on the season. The Oilers host Whittier (Whittier, CA) to clash with the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 14. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 3-7. Whittier lost 77-58 in their recent non-league bout against Cabrillo (Long Beach, CA)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the La Puente Warriors (La Puente, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 13. South El Monte will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 40-39 non-league win over Southlands Christian (Rowland Heights, CA).
