Sierra Vista Dons (Baldwin Park, CA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Covina Colts (Covina, CA), 49-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sierra Vista upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Dons travel to Marquez (Huntington Park, CA) to play the Gladiators in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 10. The Gladiators go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Marquez lost 62-39 in their recent league bout against Eagle Rock (Los Angeles, CA)

Next up, the Colts play the South Hills Huskies (West Covina, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 13. Covina will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Huskies go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 54-25 non-league win over Whittier Christian (La Habra, CA).
