Lightridge Bolts (Aldie, VA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Woodgrove Wolverines (Purcellville, VA), 48-25 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lightridge upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Bolts travel to Potomac Falls (Sterling, VA) to play the Panthers in a bout on Monday, January 22. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 3-0.

Next up, the Wolverines play the Loudoun Valley Vikings (Purcellville, VA) in a bout, on Wednesday, December 13. Woodgrove will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Vikings come into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 59-27 non-league loss to Potomac Falls (Sterling, VA).
