The Apache Junction Prospectors basketball team (Apache Junction, AZ), was overwhelmed 79-23 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Sahuarita Mustangs (Sahuarita, AZ)

The Mustangs now possess a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cienega for a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 13. Sahuarita will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 60-55 non-league loss to Catalina Foothills (Tucson, AZ). The Bobcats record now stands at 5-6.

The Prospectors (0-5) will now prepare for their battle against Crismon (Queen Creek, AZ). The Rattlers come into the non-league battle with a 1-7 record. In their last battle, Crismon was overwhelmed by St. Mary's (Phoenix, AZ), 40-30, in a non-league battle.
