In Monday's non-league outing, the Lightridge Bolts (Aldie, VA) basketball squad edged the visiting Freedom Eagles (South Riding, VA), by a count of 42-35.
The Bolts (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against John Champe (Aldie, VA). The Knights go into the non-league outing with a 1-4 record.
The Eagles now hold a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Unity Reed for a Cedar Run outing on Tuesday, December 12. Freedom will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 63-6 league loss to Osbourn (Manassas, VA). The Lions record now stands at 0-3.
