In Monday's non-league outing, the Rison Wildcats (Rison, AR) basketball squad beat the visiting Hermitage Hermits (Hermitage, AR), by a count of 59-41.

The Wildcats (6-3) will now prepare for their outing against Gurdon (Gurdon, AR). The Go-Devils go into the 2A Region 8 outing with a 4-3 record. In their last outing, Gurdon defeated Fordyce (Fordyce, AR), 52-42, in a league outing.

The Hermits now hold a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Nevada for a non-league outing on Friday, December 15.
