Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Hopewell crushes Riverside

December 11, 2023: Aliquippa, PA 15001

Hopewell Vikings (Aliquippa, PA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Riverside Panthers (Ellwood City, PA), 50-15 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hopewell upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Vikings travel to Beaver (Beaver, PA) to play the Bobcats in a WPIAL 4A 2 bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 2-2.

Next up, the Panthers play the Ambridge Bridgers (Ambridge, PA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 13. Riverside will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Bridgers go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 44-38 non-league loss to Winchester Thurston (Pittsburgh, PA).
