Northside Methodist Academy Knights (Dothan, AL) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Long Rebels (Skipperville, AL), 45-38 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Northside Methodist Academy upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Headland (Headland, AL) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 14. The Rams come into the bout with a record of 0-8. Headland lost 51-28 in their recent non-league bout against Cottonwood (Cottonwood, AL)

Next up, the Rebels play the Wicksburg Panthers (Newton, AL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Long will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 8-3 record after their 38-28 non-league loss to Kinston (Kinston, AL).
