The Moon Area Tigers tipped the visiting Shaler Area Titans basketball team by a final score of 38-34 in Monday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Beaver Falls Tigers (Beaver Falls, PA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, December 14. Moon Area will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 1-0 record after their 53-43 non-league win over Eden Christian Academy (Pittsburgh, PA).

With the defeat, Shaler Area moves to 1-4 on the year. The Titans host North Hills (Pittsburgh, PA) to face the Indians in a WPIAL 5A 2 game on Wednesday, January 3. The Indians enter the game with a record of 3-1.
