The Rogers Vikings basketball team (Newport, RI), dropped 38-22 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI)

The Huskies now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Smithfield for a Division 2 battle on Tuesday, December 12. Mt. Hope will battle a Sentinels team coming off a 46-24 non-league loss to North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI). The Sentinels record now stands at 0-1.

The Vikings (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Ponaganset (North Scituate, RI). The Chieftains come into the Division 1 battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Ponaganset dropped by New London (New London, WI), 46-41, in a non-league battle.
