The Ferndale Golden Eagles (Ferndale, WA) basketball knocked off the host Meridian Trojans (Bellingham, WA), 56-40 in Monday's non-league test.

The Golden Eagles (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Glacier Peak (Snohomish, WA). The Grizzlies go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Glacier Peak notched a victory over Bothell/Inglemoor (Bothell, WA), 72-48, in a non-league test.

The Trojans now own a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Lynden for a non-league test on Friday, December 15. Meridian will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 66-31 non-league win over Squalicum (Bellingham, WA). The Lions record now stands at 4-0.
