The Marvin Ridge Mavericks (Waxhaw, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Providence Panthers (Charlotte, NC), 57-34 in Monday's non-league test.
The Mavericks (4-0) will now prepare for their test against Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Ardrey Kell was trounced by Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC), 56-44, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Butler for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 12. Providence will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 47-20 non-league win over Garinger (Charlotte, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-2.
