The Durand Railroaders basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Swan Valley Vikings to 47 in the Railroaders non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Railroaders now have a 5-0 record. They play next when they travel to Ovid-Elsie for a Mid-Michigan game on Thursday, December 12. Durand will confront a Marauders team coming off a 63-29 league win over Hill-McCloy (Montrose, MI). The Marauders record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Swan Valley falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Vikings host Glenn (Bay City, MI) to meet the Bobcats in a Tri-Valley - Red match on Friday, December 13. The Bobcats enter the match with a record of 3-2. Glenn won 54-51 in their recent non-league match against Alpena (Alpena, MI)
