In Wednesday's non-league test, the West Davidson Dragons (Lexington, NC) basketball squad got by the visiting East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC), by a score of 37-32.

Next, the Dragons encounter the Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC) in a 1A/2A Central Carolina test, on Friday, December 13. West Davidson will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Hornets come into the test with a 3-3 record after their 72-65 non-league win over Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC).

The Mustangs (0-5) will now prepare for their test against Carson (China Grove, NC). The Cougars come into the 3A South Piedmont test with a 5-1 record. In their last test, Carson held off West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC), 70-47, in a league test.
