The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Lincoln Park Performing Arts (Midland, PA) and the host Hopewell Vikings (Aliquippa, PA), observed Lincoln Park Performing Arts's basketball team edge Hopewell by a score of 63-62.

The (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Montour (McKees Rocks, PA). The Spartans come into the WPIAL 6A 2 challenge with a 2-0 record.

In their next game, the Vikings encounter the New Brighton Lions (New Brighton, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 13. Hopewell will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record.
