Nevada High School Basketball - Hug overwhelms Sage Ridge

The Hug Hawks basketball team scored 68 points and limited the visiting Sage Ridge Scorpions to 40 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Hawks now possess a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Churchill County for a non-league game on Friday, December 13. Hug will confront a Greenwave team coming off a 67-64 non-league win over Pyramid Lake (Nixon, NV). The Greenwave record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, Sage Ridge falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Scorpions host Excel Christian (Sparks, NV) to confront the Warriors in a 1A West game on Saturday, January 4. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 1-4.
