Louisiana High School Basketball - Independence routs Kentwood

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Independence Tigers basketball team scored a big 80-26 triumph over the Kentwood Kangaroos.

The Tigers (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Mt. Hermon (Mt. Hermon, LA). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Mt. Hermon was trounced by Pine (Franklinton, LA), 78-44, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Kangaroos battle the Springfield Bulldogs (Springfield, LA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 16. Kentwood will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 5-3 record after their 56-44 non-league loss to Walker (Walker, LA).
