Ohio High School Basketball - Watkins Memorial fells Utica

The Watkins Memorial Warriors basketball team scored 53 points and limited the visiting Utica Redskins to 45 in the Warriors league triumph on Wednesday.

The Warriors now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Zanesville for a Licking County - Buckeye game on Saturday, December 14. Watkins Memorial will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 53-29 league loss to Heath (Heath, OH). The Blue Devils record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Utica falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Redskins host Northridge (Johnstown, OH) to confront the Vikings in a Licking County - Cardinal game on Saturday, December 14. The Vikings go into the game with a record of 0-2. Northridge lost 55-44 in their recent league game against Licking Valley (Newark, OH)
